A brilliant experience with Aki! We had wonderful evening and it was such a great start to our trip in Japan! Not only did we have great food but local knowledge and hot spots we wouldn’t have known about otherwise Can’t recommend enough! Jaapppaaannnn!!!!!

Here it is! Came with friends, new and old, my partner, his son and we all enjoyed the ride. Do it! Come and enjoy food, drinks, companionship and the whole fun vibe! Are you brave enough to try new foods? I give my courage an 8/10 but was impressed to see some 10/10 in our group 🤣

<div class="eltd-tour-item-plan-part-description">LET'S GET OUT OF THE TOURIST AREA where it is overpriced and crowded with tourists!<br /><br />This tour focuses on Ueno, which is not as crowded as Shibuya, Shinjuku and is less touristy. It’s popular with the Japanese for eating and drinking at any time. I'm going to take you to popular taverns and restaurants for ONLY LOCALS (NO TOURISTS!!) where the staff speaks only Japanese. I will order signature dishes and please ask me any questions.<br /><br />I’ll discuss not only Japanese food and drinks but also culture, traditions and history, which will be beneficial for the rest of your stay in Japan for sure!<br /><br />We will visit several restaurants/taverns/bar in total, where you will sample sashimi, grilled fish and skewered meat, etc. You will also have the opportunity to try UNIQUE Japanese alcoholic drinks! (5 or more different type of drinks)<br />You'll be able to experience what Japanese taverns are like. After visiting these three taverns, we will end the tour at a great Ramen shop that is popular with locals.<br /><br />During the tour, you will be able to talk to other travelers and share information about Japan. It will be great to exchange information from the same viewpoint.<br /><br />At the end of the tour, I will explain which train station you need to go, depending on where you go.</div>

Where I’ll be
<p>We’ll meet In front of Starbucks Atre Ueno, Taito ward. Everyone goes to Shinjuku where is good to go to luxury restaurants.</p>
<p>However, reasonable & nice taste ones don’t exist. (Rent is very high, so it’s impossible!) That’s why I pick this area because here is famous for Japanese foodie as lower price, but good quality!</p>
<p>I’m going to take you to popular bars for ONLY LOCALS. (NO TOURISTS!!) I will order a signature dish there for you. After we leave restaurants, we are heading to a great ramen store!</p>
